How Can I Serve?
There are many opportunities for members to use their unique time and talents to serve our church community.
THANK YOU for your interest in volunteering to serve your Advent family for Sunday and holiday services. Being a server is an important job at Advent!
Please review your schedule carefully and sign up now. You will receive an email with the dates you signed up and a reminder e-mail 2 days prior to serving. Questions? Email the office.

Choir
Adult Choir: For anyone high school age and above wishing to join the chorus in song! This group meets Septermber-May on Tuesday nights at 6:45 pm.
Youth Choir: Youth groups of varying ages will contribute to our congregation’s worship, Christmas programs and special occasions. Youth practice during the Sunday school hour.

Serving Opportunities
Altar Guild: This committee of women helps prepare the sanctuary and communion for services.
Ushers: A great way for the men of our congregation to contribute their time and talent is to volunteer to usher on Sunday.
Greeters: A warm smile and a hello is all you need to be a greeter of members of our congregation before each service!
Coffee Service: Volunteers needed to set up for weekly Sunday coffee and pastry service prior to Bible Study in Fellowship Hall. Families, individuals, or couples make the task light.
Acolytes & Crucifers: Youth who are in confirmation class or have been confirmed are expected to volunteer to serve as acolytes & crucifers.
Sunday School Teachers & Aides: Volunteer to serve as Sunday School teachers or aides for our youth. Teaching materials provided.
Vacation Bible School Help: Coordinators, assisting in shepherding children around and helping with arts and crafts, games, or other areas.
Care Committee: During times of sickness, loss or other life disruption, the Care Committee provides meals, sends cards, visits those who are convalescing and more.
