Sunday Worship times are 8:15 and 10:45. There is fellowship time and refreshments provided between services.
Midweek Services:
During the seasons of Advent and Lent special midweek services are held to help prepare the congregation for the sacred and special occasions of the high festivals of Christmas and Easter. These services are often preceded by a light supper to help people gather their family and spend time together in worship and prayer.
Thanksgiving Service is held at 10 a.m.
Advent Services 2011: December 7th, 14th, 21st at 7:00 p.m.
Christmas Eve at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Christmas Day at 10:00 a.m.
Lenten Services 2011:
Ash Wednesday is: March 9th at 7:00 pm.
Other Lenten Services : March 16th, 23rd, 30th, April 6th, 13th, 20th at 7:00 pm
Palm Sunday Service is April 17th at 8:15 and 10:45 am. (This will also be Confirmation Sunday this year at the 10:45 am Service.)
Maundy Thursday is April 21st at 7:00 pm.
Good Friday is April 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
Easter is April 24th at 8:00 and 10:45 worship. There is a breakfast provided between services that benefits youth events at Advent.
Reformation Service: Generally on the last Sunday of October Lutherans celebrate the Reformation as a great contribution to the faith of the Christian Church. In 1517 Martin Luther nailed ninety-five theses to the door of the church in Wittenberg, Germany and set forth a storm of controversy that lead to many great “reforms” within the Roman Catholic Church (hence the “reformation”).
