Sunday School Superintendents: Carol Ryan and Pauline Kurtz
Our Sunday school is designed for the Christian education of our children. Advent offers Sunday school for children ages 3 and up every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Those in preschool through second grade meet in the church library for an opening, while those in grades three and up go to their respective classrooms. The lessons follow those used in the worship service, providing the entire family with common take-home points for discussion later on. Vacation Bible School
Every summer Advent offers a one week day program for children entering preschool through grade 5. It is a week of excellent bible education filled with skits, music, crafts, games, and snacks.
The Summer 2010 VBS is June 21st-25th and is Savior of the Nations.
We will explore the Old Testament stories of Abraham and Ruth, celebrate Christmas in June, learn about the Apostle Philip and one of his missionary journeys, and investigate the Great Commision and how it applies to us. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about Jesus- our Savior of the Nations.
